Active Harness
The Duo-Flex® system allows the shoulder straps to constantly adapt to the dog’s movement on each step, so they only sense the harness when you want to stop or hold them back.

Thanks to the active parts, the harness is so comfortable you don’t need to take it off even when you let your dog loose as they practically don’t feel it’s on them.
The longer you walk,
the more it benefits
The leash is also integrated into the Duo-Flex® system so when your dog suddenly jerks on it or you decide to pull them back, the active rings ensure a more gentle, dampened effect. The longer you walk, the more grateful your shoulder will be for the reduced tugging force.
Depending on the workload, the active components start moving gradually, in sync with each other.
The Duo-Flex® system is active both when the leash is taut and when you let your dog roam freely without the leash on.
Attention! The shoulder straps of Y-harnesses, when adjusted too loosely, compress the shoulders during a gallop or pull, thereby impeding movement and reducing lung capacity.
If the Y-harness is too small for the dog, it squeezes the neck, and the shoulder straps have a negative effect on breathing, oesophagus and neck veins.
Please pay attention to the careful selection of the size and the adjustment of the harness.

Ich muss gestehen, ich habe lange überlegt ob ich das Geld in die Hand nehme zumal ich keine Möglichkeit hatte zur Anprobe zu ordern.Quality Price Overall rating
Hinuz kommt dass meine Wolfhunde idR keine Geschirre dulden weil sie unbequem sind, und dass sie Meister im raus schlüpfen sind.
Nicht einmal Sicherheitsgeschirre können einen Wolfhund wirklich aufhalten.
Als das Geschirr ankam musste ich zu meiner Freude feststellen dass die Größenangaben wirklich korrekt sind und Größe L relativ groß gestellt perfekt passt.
der erste Einsatz war dann im Auto (das Geschirr wurde nicht durchgebissen, was für den bequemen Sitz und die tolle Passform spricht) beim Tierarzt angekommen kam der erste Härtetest, wer schonmal einen Angsthund erlebt hat hat eine Vorstellung wie meine Wolfhunde sich verhalten wenn sie nicht möchten / Angst haben.
Vorsichtshalber hatte ich doppelt gesichert am IDC Longwalk und zusätzlich am maßgefertigten selbstgemachten Zugstopphalsband, wäre nicht nötig gewesen, das Geschirr sitzt nicht nur bequem sondern auhc sicher.
Auch beim Spaziergang an der Leine als auch frei laufend fühlt meine kleine sich nicht gestört.

We have a Julius K9 for our puppy and wanted equal quality for our older dog. She is a Podenco and, similar to a greyhound, is an awkward shape for standard harnesses. After using the measuring guide we ordered a medium and it fits great. A little awkward to adjust but once done it is secure, comfortable and tough.Quality Price Overall rating

So far have only used the harness a couple of times so time will tell however I was a little sceptical as it lies higher up towards my lab’s neck than the original harness and also a different shape as the chest pad goes between her legs and I wondered if it would be restrictive for her. So far this does not seem to be the case and it seems comfortable for her. Ideally I want her to be comfortable running etc in it as she is very energetic.Quality Price Overall rating

Nya is a JRT. She is very particular about a lot of things. Born like that, not raised. After all, she has one brown eye, and one blue eye. She is an alpha, she was always trying to save her brothers and sisters from all nonsense. Extremely intelligent, brave and active. Well, she just did not like her harnesses. I had before bought Julius k-9 harnesses, but for my big dogs, Alaskan malamutes. I did not think a harness for a big dog would suit my tiniest of dogs. Well... I was wrong. The IDC Longwalk was loved by Nya from the very first day. She feels very comfortable with it. And of course, I must remember that a JRT is a very big dog in a very small body. The very best harness, both for the Boss, the Alaskan malamute, and for the Bright Star, the JRT. I can never recommend enough! Julius K-9 harnesses are the only harnesses worth their money. Great harness. It does, indeed, protect our joints if you have a dog that can pull more forward. Much of the energy is lost by the moving straps on the dog's torso. Fitting is good, I got a suggestion for the size from Julius Staff.
Having a very strong dog (31 kg Amstaff) I have to say I would suggest some improvements:
1 - The leash attachment ring got ovalized after the first walk, it's very very thin. That definitely needs to be substituted with a sturdier one.
2 - the transparent plastic on the top part gets teared very easily, I'd replace that as well.
This is the reason I am giving only 3 stars.

I ordered a Medium for my Springer Spaniel it fitted great but I suggest you measure your dog using the guide so you get it right. This harness is very well made and works great whilst being comfortable on Tyler dog even when running in and out of the woods, bushes and rivers. This is a great harness for the country side my dog swims in it and runs through all different kinds of fields and it’s still in the shape I bought it in, he loves it too , he hasn’t really been a fan of other harnesses being on him when he got wet or dirty but he never has a problem with this one.
