The Duo-Flex® system allows the shoulder straps to constantly adapt to the dog’s movement on each step, so they only sense the harness when you want to stop or hold them back.

Thanks to the active parts, the harness is so comfortable you don’t need to take it off even when you let your dog loose as they practically don’t feel it’s on them.
The longer you walk,
the more it benefits
The leash is also integrated into the Duo-Flex® system so when your dog suddenly jerks on it or you decide to pull them back, the active rings ensure a more gentle, dampened effect. The longer you walk, the more grateful your shoulder will be for the reduced tugging force.
Depending on the workload, the active components start moving gradually, in sync with each other.
The Duo-Flex® system is active both when the leash is taut and when you let your dog roam freely without the leash on.

Whilst I must admit that this harness is somewhat expensive but I could immediately tell that my labrador retriever was very comfortable in it. Indeed whereas with my previous harness (I was using a "cheap" unbranded one until my lab reached full size) my lab was somehow reluctant to wear the harness, now she immediately comes and allows me to put the Longwalk Y-Harness on easily. I bought a size small for my average sized, slightly chunky, Shiba Inu, and it fits perfect. He weighs about 28 lbs and has the mature rolls in his neck at almost age 4.Quality Price Overall rating
I like how both sides of the neck/shoulder pieces adjust, as well as the both sides of the chest piece.
We live out in a rural area, so every walk takes us up over rocky and uneven terrain. The harness gives enough to keep him comfortable at the same time keeping me in full control. This is important as we live in an area with both prey and predators.
I am very happy with the Julius K-9 Long Walk Harness.

We were looking for a safe harness to be used during long mountain trekking. Traditional harnesses are discomfortable for our boy, limit movements and cut his hair. All another story with this Julius K9 IDC HARNESS: it supports any movement, doesn’t compress the joints and doesn’t damage the hair. While connected on a leash, the harness does not slip aside or turn around the dog, fits always right and it stays always on the right position, no matter which side our dog turns on.
Very good and easy adjustment system with an quite big range between minimum and maximum, both on chest and around the neck.
Since our dog is still growing and has not turn his adult size yet, we are sure that our L size harness will perfectly follow her body changes.

It is very resistant, waterproof and fits perfectly. This harness is very good, since the dog does not pull like with the other harness, he stops just before the leash runs out. We have a 10meters leash for our trails and the harness is perfect since it protects the dog (seems very comfortable and our dog accepts it very well) and allows for perfect control even at a distance. The handle is also good to pick up the dog in different situations like going into the jeep, crossing a creek, …. For our Scottish Terrier we got the S/Mini size, the price is a bit high compared with the other harness. The delivery was very fast and the service very good. The best harness for dogs ever! Robust and made with quality materials. Absolutely safe for the dog, adjustable to adapt perfectly to its growth. The only flaw is that it is little reflective, it would be useful if it were especially when walking in the evening! I already had two, this is the third because my puppy is grown. I will not buy any other brand, although the price is a bit too high worth the expense. Absolutely recommended.
